Challenge 3: Growing a Small Space

Hi Greenest Neighbourhoods and previous Greenest Streeters. Here’s the details of your third challenge. This one’s a swap with the Seasonal Cook-Off – apparently there’s a limit to what you can do with a glut of silverbeet, eggs and lemons 🙂

Date: Sunday 20 October, 2pm – 4pm

Venue: Raumati South Primary School, Matai Rd, Raumati South

Brief: Your elderly mother has recently moved into a pensioner housing unit. She would like to continue grow some of her own vegetables, however her outdoor area is small and fully paved. Your challenge is to build her a suitable garden using the recycled materials available and within 90 minutes. Available materials can be supplemented by other recycled or new materials to the value of $50. Council will provide the funds for this.a0d19d400fa16541_9273-w265-h265-b1-p10--eclectic-gardening-tools
